It has now come to light that ten days after the November 26 incident on a New York-Delhi Air India flight, another episode of a drunk male passenger urinating on a blanket of a female passenger was reported on the Paris-Delhi sector, but penal action was not pressed after the passenger gave a written apology. PTI was the first newswire to report this news.
This incident happened on December 6, 2022, on Air India flight 142, and the pilot of the aircraft reported the matter to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport about it, following which the male passenger was apprehended.
The male passenger was apprehended by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) as soon as he deboarded the plane but was later allowed to leave after the two passengers had a “mutual compromise” and the accused tendered a “written apology”, it is reported.
The lady passenger, who had initially made a written complaint, refused to file a police case, and hence the passenger was allowed to go by the airport security after he cleared immigration and customs formalities.
Bottomline
That is a double whoopsy for Air India, who is encouraging coverup of such behaviour by hushing it up and not pressing charges in either cases. Also, what is it with drunk passengers on Air India aircraft using the rest of the aircraft as a toilet?

If someone purposely urinated on me they would get instant retribution by way of a punch in the face at the very least – I bet I would be in trouble with Air India! This is disgusting behaviour whether it is male on female or
male on male it’s equally unacceptable.
Stop alcohol on flights
Air craft crew has to keep a watching on like this passangers those seems doubt. and it may be creating to blame the Indian Airlines wantedly go for an investigation on it.
Air India should put a limit to the alcoholic drinks available to passengers. I have seen many passengers drink way beyond limit when liquor flows FREELY

Would be reluctant to go by Air India.
It looks like someone are doing purposively to make a bad publicity for Air India. If not, why in Air India flights only are facing such incidents in a row.
