Hilton Honors is out with the details of their first 2019 promotion where members can start earning bonus points right from their first stay. Registration is now open as well.

This promotion is the same as what Hilton Honors released last year. It is called “points unlimited”, and will allow members to earn:

• 2000 bonus points on every stay
• An additional 10,000 bonus points on every fifth stay or 10 nights whichever comes first.

Hilton’s points unlimited promotion does not put a restriction on the maximum number of points you can earn during this promotion. Members must register here and book directly with Hilton Hotels to get the extra points for stays between January 4 and May 5, 2019. The good thing about this offer is that all Hilton brands globally are participating, except for Hampton by Hilton properties in Mainland China.

Apart from earning the bonus 2,000 points on each stay, for every 5th stay or 10th night completed you will earn an additional 10,000 bonus points. There is no cap on the number of times members can earn 10,000 bonus points.

Hilton Honors redemption stays will also qualify for bonus points. Every time you complete 5 stays or 10 nights, your counter will reset so you can start earning the 10,000 bonus points again. Any additional nights completed over the 10-night threshold will automatically count towards the next counter. In case you achieve both 5 stays and 10 nights at the same time, only 10,000 bonus points will be awarded.

Here are a few examples of how members can earn points under this promotion.

A Hilton Honors member stays 5 times with a total of 8 nights in March.

• This member earned a total of 20,000 Bonus Points with the promotion.
• The member earned 10,000 Bonus Points for 5 stays (2,000 Bonus Points per stay) and received the 10,000 Bonus Point award for achieving 5 stays.

A Hilton Honors member stays 5 times with a total of 9 nights in March. This same member then stays 2 times with a total of 10 nights in April.

• This member would have earned a total of 34,000 Bonus Points with the promotion.
• The member earned 14,000 Bonus Points for their 7 stays (2,000 Bonus Points per stay). The member also received the 10,000 Bonus Point award once for staying 5 times in March and then earned another 10,000 Bonus Point award in April for staying 10 nights.

A Hilton Honors member stays 3 times with a total of 11 nights in March. This same member then stays 4 times with a total of 9 nights in April.

• This member would have earned a total of 34,000 Bonus Points with the promotion.
• The member earned 14,000 Bonus Points for their 7 stays (2,000 Bonus Points per stay). The member also received the 10,000 Bonus Point award once for staying at least 10 nights in March. Since the member had one additional night over the 10-night threshold requirement in March, this extra night was then automatically applied with the 9 nights in April to earn the 10,000 Bonus Point award again.

A Hilton Honors member stays 1 time with a total of 20 nights in March.

• This member would have earned a total of 22,000 Bonus Points with the promotion.
• The member earned 2,000 Bonus Points for their 1 stay (2,000 Bonus Points per stay). Since the member achieved the 10-night threshold twice during their single stay, the member will earn the 10,000 Bonus Point award twice for a total of 20,000 Bonus Points.

Bottomline

Like I always say it does not cost anything to register for these promotions, so register now and forget about it. A reward night at Hilton hotels starts at 5,000 Honors points so it won’t hurt if you do end up earning a few thousand extra points. This is a nice Hilton promotion, and there is a real good chance to maximise this offer if you do some short stays. And if you complete stays in multiple of 5, you’ll end up earning an average of 4,000 points per stay which is not bad at all.
