Another one to join the Diwali promotions train after HDFC Bank and YES Bank is IndusInd Bank. There is a new IndusInd Amex offer where you can get INR 5,000 worth Marriott vouchers in exchange for spending on your IndusInd cards.

To earn these vouchers, you’d have to spend a minimum of INR 1,00,000 using your IndusInd Bank American Express credit card through November 10, 2018. Out of the INR 100K, INR 20K have to be swiped on a retail POS machine. Check your emails/phone messages to see if you got selected for this promotion. The credit cards which are eligible for this offer are:

• IndusInd Bank American Express Iconia
• Jet Airways IndusInd Bank American Express Odyssey
• Jet Airways IndusInd Bank American Express Voyage

Wallet loads, EMI Purchases and cash withdrawals will not count towards the required spends. If you have add-on cards, the total across the add-ons, as well as the primary card, will be used to determine your eligibility. You can read the rest of the terms and conditions here.

You get INR 5,000 rewards on spending INR 1,00,000. That gives you a reward rate of 5%. This is over and above the points or miles that you accrue on your card. When you do complete the required spends, you’ll receive two INR 2,500 Marriott vouchers by December 31, 2018.

Now, Marriott dining vouchers can be used across Marriott brands which include The St. Regis and The JW Marriott. The Seven Kitchens at the St. Regis Mumbai is where I went the last time I was out for a date night, and the food did not disappoint at all!

Bottomline

IndusInd Bank’s new American Express credit card promotion is a decent offer. Though the required minimum spends are a bit on the higher side, the reward is in tandem with the spends. However, wondering if you guys will bite on this one!
