It is no secret that Air India is keen on capturing the India – Europe market. Just last week, they re-introduced their direct service between Mumbai and Frankfurt. The airline hopes that travellers will pay a premium for a direct flight instead of a connecting flight. That’s great for folks travelling for work where convenience is king. And now with this ongoing Air India business class promo, you’ll get up to 15% off on your next trip.
To avail of this discount, you would have to enter CINEUK in the promo code section while booking your business class trip to Europe through September 30, 2018. The travel period for this offer is as follow:
- India to UK/Europe: Fly from October 1, 2018, through November 15, 2018.
- UK/Europe to India: Fly on or before November 30, 2018
Do keep in mind that the discount only applies when you book directly on their website www.airindia.in. You can read the rest of the terms and conditions of this promotion here.
I picked the Delhi-London route where a one-way business class ticket for travel sometime early next month was priced at INR 72,566 after applying the promo code vs INR 80,680 without using the promo code. That’s about a 10% saving right there. Ajay flew on their business class some time ago and wasn’t disappointed with what the airline had to offer.
This is just one route that Air India flies on. If you want to explore new cities like Stockholm, Madrid or Vienna, this promotion applies to these routes as well. I’d choose to fly direct to my final destination in Europe rather than get down at Paris or Frankfurt and connect onwards. After all, an intra-European business class is nothing but just a regular Economy row with a blocked middle seat.
Bottomline
Air India is a value carrier in International Business Class, and then on top of it, you now can get discounted tickets, especially on premium cabins. So this promotion is an excellent chance to pick up cheap tickets for your upcoming trip to Europe. Hurry though, the offer is valid for a few more days, although it tends to get extended over and over.
What European destination do you have on your bucket list? Does Air India fly there?
