Earlier today, I wrote about some of the great deals ongoing on Air India for domestic and international travel as part of their ongoing sale. Deals there start for as low as INR 1,199 one way for a domestic flight and INR 11,999 for an international round trip.
HSBC is offering 3X Points on tickets booked.
HSBC has launched a new promotion, where if you book tickets on Air India’s website between May 22 -31, 2025, you get up to 2X Bonus points on the tickets booked, as long as you have booked your ticket with your HSBC Credit Cards.
HSBC Credit Cardholders, using their valid HSBC Credit Cards issued in India for spending on the Air India website or mobile application, will be entitled to the following offers:
- HSBC Premier: 3X Points (9 points per INR 100)
- HSBC TravelOne: 3X Points (12 points per INR 100)
- HSBC Platinum: 2X Points (4 points per INR 100)
There are no restrictions on the travel date. The accelerated HSBC Reward points will be credited to the account within 30 days of completing the transaction. Offer is applicable on Indian Issued Cards & INR transactions.
The offer with Air India is applicable only on the INR transactions (Indian Issued Cards) made with Air India official website and/or Air India mobile app and it’s not valid for transactions made via travel agents, IVR, Online Travel Agent, any Air India offline counter and/or via any other available channel(s). Transactions made on a currency other than INR will not be applicable for this programme.
Bottomline
HSBC Credit Cards will apply 3X points on HSBC Premier and HSBC TravelOne Credit Cards, and 2X points on HSBC Platinum Credit Cards for making their bookings on the Air India website/app between May 22-31, 2025. The additional bonus points will arrive within 30 days of the transaction being made.
