Here is how to bid your way to 2 seats on the OWMD (from 7th to 14th Dec 2011)
American Airlines (AA), one of the sponsors of the OWMD and the metal on which OWMD will fly, got the privilege to block off 2 seats on the charter for an Auction to AAdvantage members in the USA. The bidding will start on 7th December 2012, and the opening bid will be for 50,000 AAdvantage miles, moving up in denominations of 1,000 miles every time someone bids. For the winner of the bid, you get to travel on the charter with 1 guest of your choice, and hotel nights at each city, apart from transport to and from your city of origin.
