During this promotional period, Reward Multiplier offers 5X Membership Rewards points on American Express Platinum Card, 3X Membership Rewards points on American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card and American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card, and 2X Membership Rewards points on other American Express Proprietary Cards will not be applicable. Cardmember will instead get a higher accelerated earn of 22 Membership Rewards Points on every spend of INR 100 via the Rewards Multiplier. These include:

The e-vouchers sale will not attract 22 points/INR 100 spent.

Bottomline

This is a pretty lucrative offer if you believe in the power of Membership Rewards points as I do. For cardmembers of the American Express Gold Charge Card, American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card and other such cards, it benefits them even more. Instead of 4 points/INR 100, they will now earn 22 MR points/INR 100 spent. So go on and shop over and make the most of this promotion.

  1. Do not trust these Amex campaigns. I have participated thrice till date twice in 2020 (Independence Day and before Diwali) and again once in 2021. Only once bonus points were actually credited and that too only 60% of the points.

  2. certainly lucrative but the TAT of 180 days for bonus reward points and exclusions of e-vouchers is a bug bummer with the offer!

    • @Tanmay, they made the mistake of offering it on e-vouchers once (due to open ended terms) and honoured it. Don’t expect it to come back ever.
