I’ve been writing this blog roughly for about 3 years, and when I started writing this blog, it was because of my own concern that there was no one place to get access to miles & points resources from an Indian perspective. Yes, there is Flyertalk but you need your geek quotient to be high to be around there and get a hang of everything happening there.

Its been a long journey, and at the right time I guess, because over the past 3 years I’ve seen points and miles taking mainstay in India with various airlines rejigging their travel programs to make it more accepted with the common folk, and the flurry of the Jet Airways, Air India and PremierMiles credit cards in the market which make miles accessible for everyone without flying much.

In the award booking service I offer, I take on very few clients at the moment to be able to help clients with making that special trip they’ve been looking forward to for so long, and since I have a 14-hour day job to look out first which I incredibly enjoy as well. The focus for me is to create an experience for those who can’t crack that complicated itinerary on their own.

And then, there are people who did not know about the game a few years earlier but can now do it all, which is what I am very proud of! Like this twitter exchange had me grinning ear to ear.

Stuff like this makes me justify the blog to the folks and friends who are not much into this stuff, and look my way to manage their blackboxes for them.
