Vistara to launch flights between Delhi and Paris on November 7. Bookings open.

In 2020, Vistara managed to score prestigious London Heathrow slots to operate relief flights from India to London and vice-versa. Vistara operates the route with their brand new Boeing 787 aircraft, of which the airline has two in the fleet right now. Then, Vistara headed to Frankfurt and Tokyo. The next place on the list was Paris, which we did not hear about, for long after. Until now. Vistara Paris is a go.

Vistara Frankfurt

Vistara has announced the launch of its long-haul operations to Paris. Vistara will operate special, non-stop flights between Delhi and Paris from November 7 through the Winter Schedule 2021. The flights have been introduced as part of the air bubble formed between India and France.

During the period, Vistara will initially fly twice a week between the two cities – on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Mr Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said, “We are very pleased to commence flights to Paris, a step that reflects our commitment to growing our global network. These flights give us the opportunity to further build our presence in Europe and to present India’s finest full-service carrier to the world.

The airline will deploy its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on the route to provide non-stop flights to travellers in both directions.

How much would it cost?

The roundtrip fares from Delhi to Paris start from INR 40,999 on the Economy Class, INR 71,999 on the Premium Economy round trip, and INR 135,999 on the Business Class round trip. Bookings for these flights are progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents such as MakeMyTrip.

Bottomline

Vistara has a superior product as compared to Air India on this route any day. It is excellent news anyways for Vistara and its patrons, given how the airline is at least getting a toe-hold into the Paris market and should be able to build upon its presence there after getting started with operations.

  1. Hi Ajay,

Have you ever heard anyone get a complimentary upgrade on Vistara (not the upgrade vouchers). Maybe a plat or gold member. Just curious.

  2. Hi Ajay

Since they are opening up more and more on key international route, does it make sense to get the Axis Vistara Infinite card now.

Do the upgrade vouchers provided by Vistara count towards international flights as well ?

Also the extra baggage allowance etc coming with Gold status, does that work on international sector as well.

    • @Sumit, Axis Infinite is a good idea. Upgrade Vouchers count towards intl. but don’t bank on them opening up much space intl for rewards or upgrades.
