Visa has recently introduced a “Visa Meet & Greet” service in India, aiming to enhance the travel experience for Visa cardholders by offering personalised airport assistance. The service launched just a short while ago.

Visa Meet & Greet

The Visa Meet & Greet service is provided for those with an eligible India-issued Visa Infinite Credit Card. Eligibility here means USD 1000 (approximately INR 85,000) spent in the past 12 months on point-of-sale transactions outside of India (e-commerce not included).

The complimentary offer is valid only for international meet-and-greet service (Departure / Arrival) at participating airports within India and is limited to one complimentary visit per calendar year. Here are the airports where it is being offered:

• Mumbai
• Ahmedabad
• Jaipur
• Guwahati
• Lucknow
• Mangalore
• Trivandrum
• Delhi
• Hyderabad
• Goa
• Bangalore

The service is being offered in alliance with Adani Digital Labs, Pranaam handles Adani Airports, and Encalm handles Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa. For the first step, you need to input your phone number and then your Visa Infinite Card details to validate, and then you will be able to place a request.

For other instances, or more than one guest, you get a 10% discount on their services. Here are the confirmation timelines.

Bottomline

Visa has now introduced a new meet-and-greet service at major Indian airports, arguably as a retort to American Express’s similar service for booking through their Platinum card in India. The service is offered complimentary one time during a year, subject to USD 1000 spend outside of India in Card Present Transactions
