Virgin Atlantic to launch a flight between London Heathrow and Bangalore.
Since 2019, Virgin Atlantic has increased its capacity to India by 250%, the airline’s most significant area of growth outside the US. Virgin Atlantic has today announced a new flight between London Heathrow and Bangalore, effective March 31, 2024. Launching on March 31, the service will be the airline’s fourth daily service to India and will operate around the year.
The timings of the flight will be:
VS316 LHR1145 – 0215(+1)BLR
VS317 BLR0405 – 1015LHR
The Bengaluru flights will operate on Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which has 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium and 192 Economy seats, and the airline’s UpperClass social space.
With the launch of Bengaluru in the summer of 2024, the airline will offer almost 500,000 seats each year between the UK and India. Bengaluru will complement its long-established double daily services between London Heathrow and Delhi, daily flying to Mumbai, and its codeshare arrangement with IndiGo, which covers 34 destinations across India.
