Club Carlson has been on a roll trying to establish itself back in the big player game for hotels. While I like the Radissons for a quick stay every now and then, they are not my first choice, since they are usually pure business hotels and I miss out on the perks of being a business traveller, such as the lounge and upgrades!
If you are travelling to the Asia Pacific in 2012, you might want to check out the Carlson ‘Hot Deals’valid for stays till December 31, 2012. Your bookings need to be made before February 19, 2012, and the offer provides you up to 30% off on the Best Available Rate, if you stay 2 or more consecutive nights at the same hotel.
Now these rates are available very widely, and the promo extends in Japan, China, India (loads of them!) and even French Polynesia (Tahiti et al) amongst others. Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn, Radisson Blu and Country Inns and Suites are all participating. The list of participating properties is not published somewhere, but you could search for the hotel you are looking out for, and it will show the rate automatically.
You may feel that Advance Purchase Rates are anyways going to give you that kind of discount but this is better than that:
- The discount is on best available rates, however, only guaranteed by credit cards (you don’t need to pay when booking)
- An extra 1,000 GoldPoints in your Club Carlson account
- The rates are cheaper than Advance Purchase Rates in some instances
I first checked up for Indian hotels, and there are more than 20 Radisson hotels I spotted there, all going at a 20% discount to the Best Available Rate. For those of you looking to travel to Tahiti, have a look below:
Yes, the sale rate is cheaper than the Advance Purchase Rate, and without restrictions! I do not know if this is the best hotel in Tahiti, but I can definitely tell you this offer is a kill, because of the value for money it offers, so I’d recommend you check and book away!
