US State Department makes fresh exceptions to the India Travel Restrictions
The State Department of the US Administration has made new exceptions to the upcoming US Travel Restrictions from India. Students and journalists will now be exempt from the restrictions.
US Travel Restrictions from India to go live from May 4, 2021
The USA will implement new travel restrictions for most non-US Citizens from India effective May 4, 2021, onwards where if they have been in India in the past 14-days, they will not be allowed to enter the USA. This means, in effect, Indians will be put on a travel ban list to the USA.
