I’d heard about this piece of news last month and then it even turned up in the press, but I am still surprised that Shangri La, who was operating a property on top of the luxurious Palladium mall in Mumbai, has moved out of the management contract only 9 months after getting the property up and running. The website of the Shangri La hotel had this notice a few days ago: As of September 2013, Shangri-La hotels and Resorts will no longer manage Shangri-La Hotel Mumbai And as of this morning, the hotel was gone from the Shangri-La website.
