This is just a news report at this moment, but it looks like Air India has grown tired of insisting upon Star Alliance to let them into their group, and is now using other tactics to try and get them to make up their mind. Malaysia Airlines to join oneworld on Feb 1, 2013
Malaysia Airlines, which is a member elect of the oneworld alliance, will be inducted as a full-member of the alliance with effect from February 1, 2013. The airline was invited to be a part of the alliance in June 2011, with Qantas being their sponsor into the alliance. First glimpses of Kingfisher Airlines sporting the oneworld logo
I was over at the Mumbai Marathon 2012 like every year, and came across an interesting visual that caught my eye. Kingfisher Airlines, for whatever bad shape they are in, is on its way to joining the oneworld alliance. Now, speculation has been on all this while if they will join or not, or will they survive that far. I hope you signed on for your free Ruby status via Kingfisher.
