Emirates has launched a new programme to upgrade the A380 and B777 aircraft to add a Premium Economy cabin, along with the addition of a new Business Class cabin on the Boeing 777 which will be 1-2-1 instead of the current 2-4-2 configuration.

Dubai Airshow Day Two: Airbus takes the lead with big orders from Emirates and Air Arabia

Day Two of the Dubai Airshow 2019 was the real day one. Emirates bought 50 A350 aircraft from Airbus, followed by 120 from AirArabia. Etihad and Boeing also had an announcement to make, and Boeing managed to sell some 737 MAX aircraft as well.
