Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer offering tickets to Singapore Grand Prix 2024

One of the hot properties in Formula 1 is the Singapore Grand Prix, and title sponsor Singapore Airlines is making a big move into the experiences space by offering tickets to the Grand Prix upon redemption of KrisFlyer Miles.

Redeem Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer Miles for tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix 2024

KrisFlyer, Singapore Airlines’ loyalty programme, has put up tickets for redemption for the Singapore Grand Prix 2024, to be held between September 20 and 22, 2024. The tickets are for the Sky Suite on the Pit Straight, which, according to the Singapore GP ticketing website, looks to be right behind the Paddock Club and a great spot to watch the race from.

There is a lot of stuff on offer to experience as well. The Sky Suite is described as,

Celebrating the finest, the Sky Suite offers an exquisite trackside experience with world-class cuisine and a sensational vantage point to view the thrilling race action. Decked out with luxuriant furnishings, the fully air-conditioned suites feature high ceilings, private viewing galleries and deluxe washroom facilities.

Guests can also get closer to the track action in comfort with unblocked panoramic views from the suite’s attached private viewing gallery, or head to the Sky Terrace at the rooftop to enjoy the alfresco dining and beverage options, complete with stunning vistas of the Singapore skyline and the race track.

Patrons also enjoy complimentary rides on the Singapore Flyer, apart from a “World-class menu” and a Free-flow Champagne bar.

But these redemptions don’t come cheap. The cash value for a 3-day ticket at the Sky Suite is SGD 9,832 (USD 7,320 / INR 613,000), and Singapore Airlines is also pricing the tickets at a very high price in terms of miles. There is no one combined ticket for all three days. You instead have to buy them on a day-by-day basis:

  • September 20, 2024 (Practice Sessions) for 140,000 KrisFlyer Miles per ticket
    • includes access to the lineup of artists, including OneRepublic and HONNE, after the track activities
  • September 21, 2024 (Practice Session and Qualifying Session) for 190,000 KrisFlyer Miles per ticket
    • includes access to the lineup of artists, including Kylie Minogue and BabyMonster, after the track activities
  • September 22, 2024 (Race Day) for 310,000 KrisFlyer Miles per ticket
    • includes access to the lineup of artists, including Lenny Kravitz, Kelis and Dean Lewis, after the track activities

So, if you wanted a ticket for all three days, that would be 640,000 KrisFlyer Miles, loosely valuing the proposition at 1.5 Singapore Dollar Cents per mile spent. Tickets are available for redemption on this website. Redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bottomline

Singapore Airlines is offering an opportunity to redeem KrisFlyer Miles for tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix using the KrisFlyer Experiences portal. Tickets for each day are limited and available on a day-by-day basis. You are seated in the Sky Suite, which is one of the hospitality options at the venue.
