Earlier this year, Iberia brought out a promotion where you could load up on a tonne of Avios for flights you never had to fly. Most people who took advantage of the promotion went ahead to maximise the promotion and got themselves Iberia 90000 Avios.
These Avios came with special Terms & Conditions. The terms were that the Avios needed to be used by December 1, 2018, otherwise, they would be clawed back from the accounts. There were many hiccups for many people in getting these Avios in the first place, which almost lead me to believe that Iberia was trying to back off. In reality, they were perhaps just as confused it seems about what hit them.
Anyhow, the due date is almost here, and in good faith, even Iberia is sending out emails to those who received the promotional miles to make sure they use them, else they lose them.
I’ve already used up a majority of the miles from mine and Shipra’s account, and am left with 10000 Avios in each account. I’m curious to hear from others about how did they spend their Avios bonuses as well?

10K points left over after booking a couple of first class domestic AA flights. The cash price on them is about $1500, so the points were a good investment for $250!
Seem to be getting “No availability has been found for the selected journey” for just about any flight I try to search for when trying to use these Avios points. Anyone else getting that same error?
I was getting the same error, but after reloading the page a couple of times availability showed up (DEN to LAX in March & DEN to MCO in Sept.). Keep trying!
