Last week, Ajay wrote about Hilton’s new Double Points promotion which will start from May 1, 2018, and last through August 31, 2018. Hilton Double Points is the most frequent of Hilton Honors Promotions in the recent years, including in 2017.

Registration is now open for this promotion and here are the offer details.

• For every $1 spent on stays, 10 Base Points, plus an additional 10 Bonus Points (5 Base Points plus 5 Bonus Points at Home2 Suite by Hilton and Tru by Hilton). Silver, Gold & Diamond members earn their Elite Tier Bonus on top of that. Remember, new bonus rates have kicked in this month.
• Offer is available at over 5,000 hotels worldwide 
• No caps and no minimum stay requirement 

Th  Points Unlimited promotion is still running until April 30, so members can sign up before then to be eligible.  

Bottomline

I suggest you register for this promotion even if you don’t have stays planned immediately. For instance, most Hilton hotels in India are priced at an average of USD 100/ INR 6,500 per night. As a base member, you earn 10 Hilton Honors points for every eligible dollar spent. That means you will earn a total of 2,000 points  (1,000 base + 1,000 bonus) under this promotion.  A three nights stay at Hilton in Jaipur or Mumbai will earn you enough points to redeem a reward night at an entry level Hilton hotel that can be redeemed for 5,000 points a night.
