Rate Aberration: Park Hyatt Goa Suites

One of my favorite hotels in the whole wide world is the Park Hyatt Goa Resorts & Spa. I’ve been a regular since I visited them in 2012 for the first time, and I continue to go there ever so often. You can read my review here.

Now, the Park Hyatt Goa is apparently selling suites (refundable rates) at their hotel for a price of a standard room rate. Pull up the dates of your travel, and have a look under the Double Your Points rates. For instance, I pulled up rates for the end of this month. Under the Double your Points rates, you notice the Lagoon View Suite for a cheap price.

Posting this for the benefit of anyone who is not a Diamond and would like to spend some time at the PH Goa! As the flagship property of the Hyatt Hotels in India, this is one of their best around. The rate on offer is for a lot of dates, and is refundable till 21 days out.

  1. Thanks Ajay! I did manage to make use of this and as a family, we had a fabulous suite stay at Park Hyatt.

    Hats off to your posts!

I just posted an another query on getting an international hotel status, hoping to get some tips from you. Cheers!

  2. Is this still available? I just checked a few dates in June but couldn’t find the discounted suite rates. Looks liked the fixed the rate aberration.

  3. Hi Ajay,

Just wanted to check a couple of things with you. I’ve asked on previous posts but been unable to get a reply:
    1. How do you pull up your PNR record? You mentioned you did this on the post where you took Jet Airways to task for not honouring their upgrade vouchers. I’ve had a similar experience with mine – 9 hours to London in Y when I could have been in J wasn’t fun!

    2. Do HDFC give you points for forex / USD withdrawals from ATMs abroad for your Diners Black? I have the same card (thanks to your advice!) and when its not that widely accepted abroad, it makes sense to get those points via cash withdrawal + spend where possible.

Love the site, and I keep track of stuff through it pretty regularly!

    • @AJ welcome to the blog. Not sure I have seen your query before because I see you posted for the first time. On the Jet Airways website you can locate the PNR status under your travel, and that should give you current PNR status and any waitlisted segments. No card gives you points for any sort of cash withdrawal, so Diners is no different.

      • Really strange, becuse I’ve posted a question before, on the same post where you detailed your issues getting Jet to honour your upgrade vouchers. Also, I signed up for notifications to replies to this post and never got any. Was lucky to check for a reply manually.

        Keep up the good work!
