While Royal Air Maroc joined the oneworld alliance officially in 2020, they only got around to celebrating the occasion recently given the pandemic only started to ebb out recently. Now Royal Air Maroc’s Safar Flyer program has announced an awesome status match opportunity to celebrate the airline joining the oneworld alliance. Here are the details.
Royal Air Maroc’s Status Match Promotion
Royal Air Maroc is now a oneworld member airline, which means that when you take up a status match with them, you also get access to the perks and privileges of the rest of the oneworld member airlines.
Royal Air Maroc is matching to Safar Flyer Silver (oneworld Ruby) or Safar Flyer Gold (oneworld Sapphire) tiers, and not to the oneworld Emerald tier equivalent. You can apply right away, and the request can usually take up to five business days to be approved.
The promotion is valid for matches through May 31, 2022 or until the limits on the status match campaign have been exhausted. The status matched is valid through March 31, 2023, though there is one catch, albeit not a showstopper. The status match costs Euro 49 (INR 4100) that has to be paid to apply, regardless of if you get the match or not.
