New Club Vistara coming next week

One of the airlines that India has been waiting for, and then got last year was Vistara. We’ve covered the journey of Vistara over the years, since they are even younger than us! A commendable job they did was to launch their frequent flyer program along with the airline itself, which is great. They were the first revenue-based accrual program in India, but now SpiceJet has a full revenue based earn and burn program.

Along the way, they’ve also launched their credit card, which I personally use at the moment as well. They also brought in a lounge at the Delhi Airport. However, at the launch of the credit card, the airline’s CSCO Sanjiv Kapoor had hinted that in August the Club Vistara program was going to be changed and a new version was going to be brought in place. They sure did miss that deadline, but not by much.

It seems the new program is ready to be announced next week, finally. I just got this invitation in my mailbox!

  1. Waiting for the update. With my current number of flights, I am a plat till May 2019, so no incentive to fly Jet to accumulate tier points as well as miles since I use CITI PM to book. Time to seitch to Vistara it seems.

  3. Im already a member of this amazing 5 star airline cant wait for this great news and I hope I wouldnt have to start all over again with the process of signin up and all the other stuff and hope they will update my points to the newer system.

    This airline is perhaps the best in india in terms of quality.

    All cabin leather upholstered seats,headrests just make the cabin look so royal like the old kingfisher used to have cream colour headrests but Vistara is even more royal.
