Stay for free, Pay for the food at the gorgeous Narendra Bhawan Bikaner hotel

As a traveller, I am mostly tuned into the world where I can earn or burn points, but even for me, one of the hotels I’ve had my eye on for staying at for the longest time has been the luxurious Narendra Bhawan in Bikaner. This lovely remodelled property opened their doors a couple of years ago, and the (now) hotel housed the last reigning Maharaja of Bikaner Highness Narendra Singhji.

Just like the entire hospitality sector, this little boutique hotel also had to shut down during the lockdown. But now, to announce their re-opening, the hotel has a very interesting promotion to welcome guests back through August 2020. The promotion is called We Pay, You Stay.

Through this promotion, the Narendra Bhawan is offering you a free stay through August 31, 2020, at the hotel. All they ask you for is to pay for the food, subject to at least two people staying in the same room. Through your stay, you would be eligible for the following meals, at INR 3500 per person per night:

  • Breakfast
  • À la carte lunch
  • High-Chai at Laxmi Niwas Palace once during your stay (Hi – tea)
  • Unlimited IMFL between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm
  • A Crescent Thali dinner once during your stay (dinner)
  • A Marwadi Thali dinner once during your stay (dinner)
  • Pickup from the airport/railway station as well.

The promotion is very flexible as well, and you can cancel up to 72 hours out. Just out of curiosity, I looked up the prices at the hotel for a regular room and compared it with the promotion. Turned out, the room rate with just a breakfast inclusion was INR 6,000, as compared to the all meals included rate which was just INR 1,000 more.

One look at the food menu and you know the meals experience being promised is not run of the mill, but the top of the line.

I know these are times to stay home, but if you are still planning a quick trip to Rajasthan, or stay in Rajasthan and intend to go to Bikaner, I can’t think of a reason not to book this deal. Oh, and if you go, pack a bigger belt for all the eating you will do there.

Have you been to the Narendra Bhawan, Bikaner? How has your experience been at this hotel?

  1. Wow! This sounds amazing, but wish it had a longer date than August 2020. Don’t see myself traveling right now with the risk of forced quarantine.

  2. Have been to their other property in Jaisalmer, Suryagarh. It is probably the finest hotel in Rajasthan, barring Ummed Bhavan Palace

Suryagarh’s food is to die for. Hence I am assuming Narendra Bhavan will be no less.
    Great deal indeed.
