Marriott has been dwindling the carrot in terms of a global promotion for a while now and is almost the last chain to announce anything after IHG, Hyatt and Hilton, amongst others, came through with their promotions over 45 days ago. And it has not been worth the wait. Marriott has started rolling out the Marriott Promotions Fall 2019, again labelled as Get More. While mailers are yet to go out but you will spot the new promotion here.
This is a two-tiered promotion, much like Marriott has made in the past. You need to register (link here)between now and December 31, 2019. Then, you need to stay twice between October 29, 2019, and January 14, 2020, to earn a miserly total of 2,000 bonus points. But that may not be all. Marriott promises an additional offer will be unlocked after your second stay posts.
While this is a very very low earning promotion, I recommend you still register for it, because the registration costs nothing, and you better be registered even if you have a couple of stays coming up which are not on the horizon at the moment.
Marriott is also rolling out targetted offers for some members as I write this, so watch out for one coming your way if you have been targetted this year. For instance, someone I know has been targetted for a double elite night credit, while he is anyways on track for Titanium for the year. I am on track to retain Platinum this year, but still not swinging to Titanium, and this targetted promotion would have helped! While I won’t be going out of my way to swing business to Marriott, I am still thinking of what to do for the stays in this quarter.

@ Ajay are you sure one night is considered as one stay . The T &C says “ A ‘stay’ is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity on any points-eligible rate“ based on this I booked two nights in Renaissance Banaglore! If it’s one night I can rework it. Pl suggest.
@Ani, yes, I mean one night or many at one hotel, is one stay. So if someone checks out and checks back in at the same hotel without a date change, it will count as a continuous stay.
I got the second offer 5 stay 12,000 points. I will be completing the 5 stays in this week time and waiting for my 3rd promo

I made a booking last night for upcoming holiday. Would it be eligible for this unlock more offer since I registered for this offer after making the reservations. Surprisingly I dont get any direct communication from Marriott regarding these promotions, thankfully following you gives us timely updates on offers.
