Marriott Rewards, nee Bonvoy, is planning to launch their first global promotion, called Double Take, from March 19, 2019, onwards. The Marriott Promotion Q1 2019 is supposed to have gone live for registration by now, but it has not been activated so far.
The new promotion, which should be live here, will offer double points, starting from the second stay, from March 19, 2019, onwards through June 4, 2019. Registration would be required through March 21, 2019, for this promotion.
Remember, if you are planning a vacation or work stay, and do not have a Marriott Rewards account so far, you can get one for yourself with two stays securing you another free night at a Marriott hotel.

The link doesn’t appear to be working, and I don’t see this promotion under Promotion Central when I log onto the website.
Can I open a new Marriott account, transfer my remaining points to it, then transfer those points to my spouse’s account? I’ve already transferred the 100k max this year, but need to transfer another 10k or so.
Does redemption of a Club Marriott stay classify as the first stay?
