Marriott Homes & Villas is Marriott’s home-sharing platform, where they list, as the name indicates, homes and villas. Homes & Villas properties are run by individual owners or management companies, not by Marriott. The list is curated, though, unlike Airbnb, where everyone can join.
The Home Rental Programme allows Marriott Bonvoy members to experience unique accommodations as an alternative to the traditional Marriott hotel portfolio. You can still earn and redeem Bonvoy points and earn nights toward elite qualifying nights in your Marriott Bonvoy status.
Marriott Homes & Villas is offering 2X bonus points through September 2025.
The platform is offering a new promotion for last-minute bookings at Marriott Homes & Villas for the rest of Summer 2025. A new promotion was launched, offering double bonus points for a two (or more) stay at a Marriott Homes & Villas property. You need to book by July 20, 2025, for stays between now and September 7, 2025. Registration is not required.
The promotion kicks in on at least two night stays. Members earn five (5) base Points for each U.S. Dollar, or the currency equivalent, on all Qualifying Charges incurred and paid for by the Member through this platform. Promotion bonus Points are calculated based on 2X base points earned per stay within the promotion earning period and do not include Elite bonus points also awarded for the stay. Charges that do not qualify for Points include, but are not limited to, taxes, booking fees, cleaning fees, security deposits, and extra add-on services purchased and/or applied to home rentals booked through the Platform.
You can earn even more points by paying for it with a Marriott Bonvoy co-brand credit card, such as the Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Diners Club Credit Card.
So, if you have any group stays planned between July 14 and September 7, 2025, you can pad your Bonvoy balance by opting for a stay (or multiple stays) in Marriott’s home rental offering.
Award stays are not eligible for this promotion, nor are stays booked at any Marriott-branded hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, or Marriott Participating Brand Residences that may be available on the Homes & Villas platform.
With this promotion, you can earn bonus points unlimited times. Bonus points will be credited within 72 hours of completing an eligible stay. This is a good bonus offered through Homes & Villas.
