IndiGo BluChip is the new gig in town, with IndiGo now awarding points for IndiGo flights. The airline has been offering its loyalty programme for six months and has already amassed two million members over the said period. And now, they have partnered with Swiggy, and you can earn points on Swiggy orders.

Earn BluChips for Swiggy purchases.

As of March 24, 2025, you can earn BluChips for Swiggy purchases after linking your Swiggy and IndiGo BluChip accounts. You can earn 1 IndiGo BluChip on every ₹100 spent across Swiggy’s platforms: Food Delivery, Dineout and Instamart.

How do you link your BluChip and Swiggy accounts?

First, ensure you have the updated Swiggy app on your phone. Visit the Swiggy user profile section. Under ‘Partner Rewards,’ select IndiGo and link your unique 9-digit IndiGo BluChip Membership number to earn IndiGo BluChips on Swiggy.

Once you enter the BluChip Membership Number, you get your confirmation.

Whether you order food on Swiggy, groceries through Instamart, or book a table/pay a bill with Dineout, you will earn IndiGo BluChips for all transactions. Your IndiGo BluChips will be credited to your IndiGo BluChip Account within 24-48 hours after the transaction is fulfilled.

Swiggy and IndiGo are also running a joint promotion for a limited period: You can get a three-month Swiggy One membership free of cost (or extend your existing membership).

I’ve already signed up, and I’m excited because this is the first time an airline and a food delivery brand in India have come together. IndiGo quickly entered the partnerships arena and launched its first one with a partner with a high-visibility use case, which will spread the word soon about BluChip.

(Update: The transaction credit is as intended. 24 hours after the transaction, I had the points in my account. Although once the table starts to fill up, there will be a lot of lines here, I assume.)
