Jet Airways Seat Select at INR 200 now!

Jet Airways Seat Selection went paid sometime last year, and non-elite members have to pay for a seat assignment before 8 hours of flight now. However, Jet Airways is now offering a special promotion, where you can make a seat assignment for INR 200 only on the domestic flights of the airline.

The Jet Airways Seat Select sale offers you an opportunity to select your preferred seats by paying a flat, nominal fee. The offer is also open for international guests who want to block seats for their onward journey in India.

As part of the limited period offer, effective August 16 to August 31, 2018, Economy class passengers can select any seat of their choice for a flat fee of INR 200/- only regardless of the date of travel. All seats with the exception of a few such as the front row seats (Bulkhead seats) and those in the Emergency rows will be available for selection as part of the sale.

If you already have a flight booked, you can head to this page to add seat assignments and pay for them. If you are yet to book a ticket, go to jetairways.com, book your ticket and your seat assignment will come with INR 200 rupee fee if you are not an elite for the airline.

Bottomline

For most of the Jet Airways passengers, this sale represents a good saving on the ancillaries they’d usually have to pay for, or else wait for the within 8-hour window to sign up for the good seats.

  1. Correction- for not more than 15% customers pay for their seats as per jet airways corporate meet last november

    • This is ridiculous. Folks that check in during the free window period aren’t going to pay for seat selection. Those who wish to select the seat do so during booking itself. Jet should consider the cost of check in at airport v/s loss in revenue for keeping the check window open for 12 hours instead of 6.
