Jet Airways offering 20% discount on Amex bookings [Today only]

Jet Airways is running a special promotion with American Express, valid only till today, February 21, 2016. As a part of this promotion, they are offering 20% discount to anyone who has an American Express credit or charge card, and wants to travel on Jet Airways by August 31, 2016.

While I usually don’t put out promotions like these on the blog anymore, I found this one specially interesting, because this undermines their own partnership where a 5% discount is the norm, and makes it 20% which is a lot of money on the table for domestic as well as international flights.

Here are the important Terms & Conditions:

  • Offer is flat 20% off on Base Fare; both domestic and International routes.
  • The offer is valid for bookings made between 19th and 21st February 2016, for travel till 31st August 2016.
  • No minimum transaction and no maximum discount.
  • Transaction has to be done by on Merchant’s Website/Mobile App (India country site). Payment has to be made using American Express Card issued in India.
  • Discount would be applicable for all flights operated by Jet Airways (domestic and international) originating from India.
  • Discount would be applicable for travel in Economy and Premiere cabin only.
  • The offer is valid for one way and return bookings. The offer is not applicable on multi-city bookings.
  • Date change, flight change and / or refund charges will be applicable as mentioned in the fare rule which is displayed during the booking process.

Today being the last day, I’d say book away if you have any plans for the next six months on Jet Airways. Good offers don’t last, and this one won’t too!
