JAL’s Sky Suite III on the JAL 787-9s
There is more than enough award inventory available, with 5-8 seats open on many dates at the moment. Ex-India, the taxes are about 11,000-12,000 on the route (in part due to the 18% GST, which needs to be levied on the ticket, and the high departure charges at Indian airports, Delhi and Bengaluru both. Ex- Japan, the redemption rates are more like 20,000 Japanese Yen (INR 11,500), which is similar to the INR rates. You should act fast if you want to redeem the tickets, since they might not last long. Cancellation only costs about INR 1,800 per ticket, so it is not a bad deal at all.
If you sign up today for Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, remember, you will still need a 60-day cool-off period before you can make a redemption.
