As the festive season has kicked in, there has been a spate of airport growth that has been coming with the growing number of passengers over the past weeks. Earlier in October 2021, this led to massive chock points inside the Delhi and Mumbai airports, with people missing flights and so on. Hence, Delhi decided to reopen Delhi Airport Terminal 1 again, and Mumbai is also opening up the Mumbai Airport Terminal 1 to ensure some of the traffic heads over there.

While other airlines have already been transitioned in Mumbai, IndiGo will move at the end of the week to Terminal 1 in Mumbai, and on the same date, in Delhi.

Here is how the flights will be split up in Delhi and Mumbai effective October 31, 2021

Since it is Diwali and hence a lot of people will be travelling, it will be advisable to keep note of the ticket alerts from IndiGo in this case, or just download your ticket again from the IndiGo website/app to make sure you see the correct terminals if you are booked to travel in/out of Delhi/Mumbai from October 31, 2021, onwards. Why you really need to check is, because there are even exceptions in this case.

Sir, series 6E 101 to 6E 999 and 6000 to 7999 will arrive and depart from Terminal 1 however, as an exception there are few flights which are operating from T-2 due to terminal constraints by the airport. 1/2
