Last week, IHG Rewards Club announced that they are revamping IHG PointBreaks and will introduce three redemption tiers, while also doubling down on the number of hotels that will be offered in the promotion. Hotels are now available for 5K/10K/15K IHG Rewards Club points for stays. About 200 plus hotels are participating in this round of the IHG PointBreaks promotion. These hotels are bookable and are valid for stays through April 30, 2018.

A first glance at the list and I can already see about 10 InterContinental hotels participating and quite a few Crowne Plaza properties are in the mix as well.

The nicer hotels do sell out quickly as there are a limited number of rooms available under PointBreaks, so if you like a hotel make sure to book it quickly.

Points + Cash booking is now available

Until 2017, PointBreaks hotels were priced at 5K points per night and could be only booked for points. Though now hotels that cost 10k and 15k points per night can be redeemed for points plus cash. The cash component will differ for each hotel so you’ll need to check the price for each hotel
