IHG One Rewards has announced its first global promotion for the year 2023. While registration is open now, you can earn bonus points for stays from February 9, 2023. Here are the details.

IHG One’s 2K2N Promotion

IHG One’s new promotion offers you, as a member, to earn 2,000 bonus points every time you stay for two nights during the offer period with an IHG-affiliated property.

Members can pre-register for this Promotion. Members can stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion between February 9 and April 14, 2023. You only start earning points after your registration has been completed.

After registering for the promotion, members can earn 2,000 bonus points for every two qualifying room night stays during the promotion period, which is booked at a qualifying rate. It translates to you earning 1,000 bonus points per night. It can take up to 6 weeks for any earned bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s account.

A Qualifying Stay is a minimum of a one-night stay at a participating hotel, with total spending exceeding USD 30 (INR 2500, ex taxes) for each night. Participating hotels include all IHG Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith properties, except those Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One and those Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards programme. So that you know, you don’t have to stay continuous nights to trigger this promotion. 

Stays booked using Rewards Nights, or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this promotion.

I’d advise you to register for the promotion immediately so that if and when you go for a stay with IHG, you do not have to worry about remembering this promo.

IHG One Rewards has opened registration for its first promotion for 2023. With this promo, you can earn 2,000 bonus points after every two nights you stay with an IHG One affiliate property, which comes out to a bonus of up to 1,000 points per night in the right increments.
