For those of you who prefer earning airline miles to hotel points, IHG  Rewards Club has announced its new  Double Up Miles promotion that will allow you to earn double air miles. IHG already has announced the Accelerate promotion for those interested in earning IHG points in the upcoming quarter.

This promotion is valid for a period of 3 months on stays between June 1, and August 31, 2016 and you can begin earning double miles after completing the first qualifying or paid stay. Remember, if you have more than one rooms booked under your name then  only one room per member will be eligible to earn miles.

You can choose to earn miles across the following 27 participating airlines :

In case you would like to convert miles to an airline not participating in the program then you have the option to collect equivalent bonus points for this promotion. At the end of the promotion you can choose to have these bonus points converted into air miles by calling up the IHG Rewards Club service center.

Do note that the maximum number of miles that can be earned through this promotion are limited to 10,000. Of course if you still prefer to earn IHG Reward points then remember to sign up for the IHG Accelerate promotion, which will allow you to earn at least 30,000 points.
