Earn up to Triple Points with Hyatt for the rest of 2019

World of Hyatt has announced the details of their new global promotion, called Bonus Journeys just last evening India time. This will be the last Hyatt Promotion 2019, and let’s take a look at it.

Earn 2X-3X Points With Hyatt’s New Promotion

With World of Hyatt’s new promotion, you can earn up to triple points on your stays through December 15, 2019, from the second stay onwards. Your first stay only earns you the regular points.

  • You earn triple World of Hyatt points for stays at Hyatt Place properties
  • You earn double points at all other Hyatt hotels and resorts, including M-life  affiliated hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties

In order to take advantage of this promotion, you need to register between now and October 31, 2019. Stays from September 15, 2019 onwards to December 15, 2019 count.

You can earn a maximum of 200,000 bonus points during the promotion period, including a maximum of 100,000 bonus points from Hyatt Place stays, and 100,000 bonus points from non-Hyatt Place stays. Bonus points will appear in your World of Hyatt account within two to three weeks. Here are the full T&C of the promotion.

The focus on Hyatt Place yet again shows how Hyatt is not willing to evolve out of their US mindset while designing promotions and offer something that the entire world could partake in. But even then, there are other Hyatt promotions which could help you get more points. For instance, new Hyatt properties frequently offer 500 bonus Hyatt points.

Bottomline

World of Hyatt’s new global promotion is a good one on an over all basis, but again emphasises on the US nature of the business rather than being a global promotion in the truest sense.
