Hyatt offering up to 75,000 points to Stay More, Play More today onwards

Hyatt had its challenges over the past few months, where they were migrating to a new CRM platform and hence they did not run any promotions over the past six months or so. But now they are back with one of the best promotions to kick off the year, titled Stay More, Play More

Stay More, Play More

Hyatt’s latest promotion offers a tiered bonus for every 5 eligible nights you stay at a Hyatt hotel across the world during the duration of the promotion, up to a maximum of 25 nights. You earn 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points bonus for the first 5 nights, and by the time you are on the 20-25 night slab, you are on your way to earn 25,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points bonus. Here is the chart that explains it to you.

You need to register to be able to take part in this promotion, which can be done here, by June 30, 2016. The validity of the promotion is April 1 to June 30, 2016.

3,000 points bonus per night

At the top end of the promotion, there is an average bonus of 3,000 Gold Passport points per night. I’d assume while leisure travellers won’t be able to get to the top end of this promotion, there are others who travel for business and should be in a position to maximise the promotion.

What’s it worth?

75,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points are worth 3 nights at the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, which is one of my favourite Hyatt hotels. If you won’t want to make the trip that far, back home in India, where you could get 5 nights at the Park Hyatt Goa, or 9 nights at most of the Hyatt hotels in India (category 2 hotels).

Bottomline

This is an excellent promotion for those who are usually on the road and worth switching your business over to Hyatt if you please. Additionally, if you lucked out with getting Hyatt Diamond status, this may be a good time to use those suite upgrades and spend some time building up an arsenal of Hyatt points.

Readers, how many of you are gunning for the top end of this promotion?
