Hyatt 'Bonus Journeys' is offering 3X Points for Stays globally from June 15 to September 15, 2020

Remember the days you used to travel and earn points for your hotel stays? They are back it seems. World of Hyatt has just released the details of a new global promotion which will earn you points the next time you go and stay at a Hyatt branded hotel.

Hyatt Bonus Journeys Promotion

The new ‘Hyatt Bonus Journeys’ promotion offers triple points (15 points per US Dollar spent) for eligible stays between June 15 and September 15, 2020, starting with the second stay, up to a maximum of 200,000 points. Registration for the promotion can be done between June 8 and August 31, 2020, and points will be awarded for stays after the registration has been done. Participating Hyatt Hotels and resorts worldwide and participating M life Rewards destinations, Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotels and Lindblad Expeditions will award these points.

The elite members will earn even more, up to 30%, depending on their tier. Not just that, for the first stay, elite members will get another 2,500 points. The registration for this elite special promotion is here.

Hyatt Bonus Journeys

Only base points will be tripled, not the bonuses for elite tiers. For this promotion, an Eligible Stay is defined as any night where a member is paying an eligible rate for at least one night of their stay. Stays on consecutive nights at the same hotel will constitute one stay. Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion. Previously booked stays will also qualify, so it is fine if you booked a stay before the promotion period started. And one needs to book directly to be eligible for these points.

Bottomline

World of Hyatt’s new global promotion is a generous one if you intend to travel this summer, mainly because you get triple points on all stays. As a World of Hyatt Explorist, I also see I get an additional 2,500 points for my first stay, which is very good as well.
