HSBC Credit Cards have been on a resurgence over the past couple of years, with the introduction of new cards and the revamp of the existing credit cards to make them more competitive. Some of the entry-level cards that have been revamped include HSBC Live+ and HSBC Platinum Credit Card. On the higher end, the HSBC Premier Credit Card has been revamped (twice by now), and a new HSBC TravelOne Credit Card has been introduced. And lastly, the multiplier and transfer features were introduced.
HSBC TravelOne enhanced with complimentary airport transfers
HSBC has now introduced one more feature in the race to make TravelOne the number two card in its portfolio, and a sort of a mirror image of the HSBC Premier, at a lower price point, though. HSBC will now offer 4 airport transfers per annum, i.e., one per quarter, to holders of the HSBC TravelOne Credit Card. Just that your card needs to be over 45 days old, and you should have had it activated.

Throughout 2026, TravelOne Cardmembers (Primary) will receive 4 complimentary domestic airport transfers. You need to place your car request at least 72 hours before the booking is made, and you can make one request per calendar quarter. The free range has also been decided by cities:
- Group 1 Cities (30 KM): Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata
- Group 2 Cities (50 KM): Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Manesar, Hyderabad, Kochi
- Group 3 Cities (30 KM): Agra, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Belgaum, Dharwad, Hubli, Haridwar, Jalandhar, Ranchi, Patna, Surat, Varanasi, Udaipur, Nagpur, Mangalore, Mysore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Pondicherry, Jammu, Vishakhapatnam, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Bhuj, Bikaner, Calicut, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Vadodara, Combatore, Nasik, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolhapur, Raipur, Rajkot
The cars allocated will be Toyota HyCROSS or similar premium SUVs, which can accommodate 3 large-sized bags and 3 passengers only. One will need to email ECO Mobility to make the booking.
Why should you apply for the HSBC TravelOne now?
If you sign up for the HSBC TravelOne now, you get cashback of INR 1000 on spending INR 10,000 within the first 30 days. Plus, you’ll also get 3,000 bonus reward points when you spend INR 1,00,000 in the first 90 days. Apply Now.
Bottomline
HSBC Travel One now offers car transfers to and from the airport in various cities, one per quarter. This is a great addition, even if on a pilot basis, for the HSBC TravelOne Credit Card, even if only for one year for now. For a card that only costs INR 4,999 per annum, it gets you multipliers, miles transfers, discounts on various travel booking portals, and now it even gives you four free car transfers, which perhaps cost well over 10,000 INR when put together.
What do you think of the enhancement to TravelOne?

I have been following HSBC and the Travel One card in particular ever since the card was released..
One can’t help but be impressed by this card..
Initially when it came out, many people were skeptical and said things like:
“The earning rate on the Axis Atlas is still higher”
“It would have been nice had they got into the voucher ecosystem (similar to HDFC Infinia / DCB / Amex)”
But looking at this product, it is clear that the folks at HSBC did their due diligence and homework before putting this card in the market..and have been taking a long term view of this card
They have clearly avoided the pitfalls that plague the other cards..
Take the following for instance:
1- By not having a cap on the number of points one transfers to partners they have avoided the pitfall that is plaguing Axis Atlas – namely the group A and group B partners and the points one can redeem on them in a year
2- By not getting into the voucher ecosystem, they have kept this card away from the gamifiers who would be using this card solely for the multipliers (thus ensuring that this card is used primarily for it’s intended use case and then there’s always the risk of the multipliers getting devalued in future)
We also need to understand that the HSBC T1 is directly up against Axis Atlas and AmEx Platinum Travel cards which are priced exactly same..
Now in 2026 it is very clear that in terms of value this cards stock is going higher and higher
Consider this:
1- There is a high chance Axis Atlas will reduce the points earnings from 1:2 ratio to 1:1 thereby bringing the rate similar to Axis Horizon card. They have also stopped issuing Atlas entirely haven’t they ? A clear signal..
2- AmEx Platinum Travel has also recently shifted the spend to 7 lakhs instead of the generous 4 lakh milestone that was there previously
And now with HSBC introducing complementary airport transfers they have very clearly avoided the pitfall of having people use this card only for maximizing the points..
They are saying “Instead of allowing our product to be used as a points mine…we are going to give you these other benefits instead like airport transfers” which are still extremely valuable and would be appreciated
Which I think is a brilliant move..
Let’s see if I may consider this in the future..
got it upgraded
Great update, Ajay, as alaways. Is this feature applicable on premiere? And can i hold two cards as i already hold premiere.
@Rags, check with your premier RM about your eligibility. The last set of changes introduced some airport transfers, but linked to the size of the relationship. As for the cards, yes, you can hold two
