HDFC Credit Card Offers rolled out for February 2021. Check your email!

One of the moves by HDFC Bank to actively increase spends by their current member base has been to send out targetted offers asking members to spend a certain amount to receive a gift voucher in return. While this was a random stimulus to accounts earlier, over the past few months, it has become a very frequent occurrence. HDFC Credit Card offers were rolled out every month during November 2020 – January 2021, and now they are back again.

HDFC Bank has now rolled out the newest offers, valid for spends between February 2 – 28, 2021. You should check your mailbox for an email from HDFC Bank with the subject line as <Your Name>, here’s your Rs.<custom value> Amazon/Flipkart voucher. The vouchers are powered by Gyfter, and you get to choose the denominations you would want of the vouchers, including Bigbasket and Big Bazaar, apart from Amazon and Flipkart.

There are many variants of this promotion, and these depend on your credit card and your past usage patterns amongst other inputs. Here are some variants, from Diners Club to Infinia and Regalia mixed up:

  • Spends of ₹1,00,000 for vouchers worth up to ₹5000.
  • Spends of ₹37,000 for vouchers worth up to ₹1000.
  • Spends of ₹1,50,000 for vouchers worth up to ₹3000.
  • Spends of ₹40,000 for vouchers worth up to ₹2000.

Infinia members will get a special good looking email as well, like this.

HDFC Bank also tends to send out text messages many a time. The offer fulfilment will be done by May 2021.

Bottomline

For February 2021, new HDFC Credit Card Offers based on spends have been rolled out for cardmembers. Check your inbox for details if you have been targetted. The offers at the higher end are offering 5% returns, apart from the points you would get, which could be all the way up to 33% depending on the cards and the spend types.

  1. I have spent more than 1 lakh in Feb 2021 but didn’t receive coupon of 5k I have regalia.

  2. I have a HDFc regalia first, I am getting this offer from August.. every alternate month.. now even in Feb got to spend 28K to get 1000 gift voucher.

  3. I would suggest to save the email or take a screenshot of the offer. J had received a similar offer in Sep 2020. Even after meeting the spend threshold and providing the email, HDFC Bank has not sent the voucher yet. HDFC Bank is the worst bank on terns or honouring it’s commitment.

  4. The last one has a typo, it should be spend 40K (not 4K) for 2K vouchers which is what I received on Regalia.
