HDFC Bank Credit Cards Winter 2025 forex charges cashback offer across credit card range

HDFC Bank Credit Cards’ Winter Foreign Exchange Refund Offer

HDFC Bank’s new credit card promotion offers cashback on foreign exchange charges, which will be entirely reversed when spent on foreign exchange for over 10 Lakh INR. The promotion lasts through January 31, 2025.

HDFC Bank credit cards charge 1.99%- 3.5%++ on all foreign currency spending, depending on the card. The Bank has launched a new promotion offering 100% cashback, up to INR 1,000, on foreign exchange charges on its credit cards for targeted customers.

The promotion is valid when you make three or more merchant outlet transactions (not online) in foreign currency (not INR) equivalent to USD 100 or more using your HDFC Bank Credit Card during the offer period, which is between December 22, 2025 and January 31, 2026. The relevant cashback amount shall be credited to the account of the Qualifying Promotion Cardholder, no later than April 30, 2026.

For Visa/MasterCard credit cards, the promotion is valid for swipes in non-INR currencies anywhere in the world, and for Diners Club Cards, it is valid for swipes in the US, UAE, UK, Japan, and South Korea. Cash withdrawals are not eligible for the offer. Customers whose GVP (Global Value Program) subscription is active during the offer period are not eligible for the offer. The promotion is valid if you are targeted via SMS or Email for the offer. The offer is valid for the first 12,000 HDFC Bank Visa/Mastercard cardholders and the first 8,000 HDFC Bank Diners Club cardholders on a first-come, first-served basis.

A foreign exchange cashback promotion is currently ongoing across the HDFC Bank Credit Cards retail credit card range. The promotion is on for those who were targeted and swiped at least three times between December 22, 2025 and January 31, 2026. The cashback will be fulfilled on or by April 30, 2026.
