Coming Up: HDFC Bank Credit Cards to offer up to 80% transfer bonuses in July 2024

HDFC Bank Credit Cards launched several credit card point transfer partners last year. This month, an upcoming promotion will offer a limited window of transfer opportunities with bonuses. This post aims to give you a heads-up on these upcoming opportunities.

HDFC Bank Credit Cards Conversion Bonuses July 2024

HDFC Bank Credit Cards will be funding transfer bonuses on five conversion partners in the coming weeks. Specifically, the promotions will be offered over two weekends. Here is how the promotion will be split up:

  • Phase 1: From July 20, 2024, 00:01 hours IST (Saturday) to July 21, 2024, 23:59 hours (Sunday)
    • 30% Bonus on transfer to Flying Blue
    • 80% Bonus on transfer to IHG One
    • These are both transfer partners where Infinia / Diners Club and their metal variants transfer 1:1
  • Phase 2: From July 27, 2024, 00:01 hours IST (Saturday) to July 28, 2024, 23:59 hours (Sunday)
    • 75% Bonus on transfer to Accor ALL
    • 30% Bonus on transfer to Avianca Lifemiles
    • 40% Bonus on transfer to Etihad Guest
    • These are both transfer partners where Infinia / Diners Club and their metal variants transfer 2:1

Eligible credit cards for this promotion include HDFC Bank Infinia Metal, Infinia, Diners Club Black Metal, Diners Club Black, and Regalia Gold credit cards.

Remember, you can transfer the following number of points per month:

  • 1,50,000 Reward Points per calendar month for HDFC Bank Infinia / Metal Credit Card
  • 75,000 Reward Points per calendar month for HDFC Bank Diners Club Black / Metal Card
  •  50,000 Reward Points per calendar month for HDFC Bank Regalia Gold Credit Card

Overall, this is a great promotion, and the heads-up is appreciated. There are no minimums for conversion, and a bonus is given to all five partners. The full details are here if you are interested.   1. This is good offer but is it really great? If some indication/suggestion on relative point value of such programs during promotion (or otherwise as well) in Rupee value vis a vis this offers were also given, it would have been pretty useful to decide.

  2. Not doing it. IHG points not worth that much even with 4th night free. Others are meh too! Flight booking through smartbuy is guaranteed 1 rupee per point.

  3. I hold infinia.
    I still feel using for flight and hotel bookings along with Tanishq vouchers is a better option.
    I don’t find any lucrative one compared to Axis M4B
