Go First has become the second airline to offer a discount to fully vaccinated customers. IndiGo has been offering the discount for a while now already, and SpiceJet came and went with it on and off and on basis.

Go First’s Vaccine fare discount

As per Go First, GOVACCI is an offer for passengers located and double-vaccinated in India when booking domestic flights. This fare is only valid for the Go First website or mobile app bookings. You will need to enter the promo code GOVACCI in the promo code section on the search page. The promotion code will get you 20% discount on your bookings on domestic flights (the discount is valid only on the base fare and for bookings made at least 15 days out).

If you book this fare, it will be mandatory for the passengers to carry their COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, or show their vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu mobile app at the airport check-in counter – failing which, applicable difference in fare and change fee will be charged.

While the T&C state an up to 20% discount, the discount was always a full 20% on the base fare for the sectors I checked.

IndiGo’s 10% discount for Vaccinated travellers

IndiGo also offered up to a 10% discount for vaccinated travellers since June 2021. The discount is offered for travel dates beyond 15 days from the booking date. Passengers who avail of the offer at the time are required to furnish a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, or display their vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu mobile application at the airport check-in counter.

Bottomline

Go First offers a 20% discount to fully-vaccinated customers as long as you book directly with them on their website/app and use the promotion code GOVACCI. The promotional fare is valid only if you book at least T+15 days out.
