Giveaway: Jet Airways base fare codes and roundtrip discount codes

Hi guys. It has been a little quiet around here. Reason? I was away on a pressure cooker trip, as I like to call it, with travels to Europe and back within 72 hours from Mumbai.

Today’s giveaway comes largely courtesy a longtime reader Kamakhya, who is being generous enough to give away the following codes for use:

  • 2 Base Fare waived ticket codes for one-way travel tickets on Jet Airways
  • 2 Round Trip discount codes on Jet Airways for INR 750 off

I am pitching in with one of my own round-trip discount codes as well for a discount of INR 750 rupees. So the total tally of prizes is like this:

  • 2 Base Fare waived ticket codes for one-way travel tickets on Jet Airways
  • 3 Round Trip discount codes on Jet Airways for INR 750 off

Now, it is important to clarify that the codes are all valid for booking and travel till 31 May 2014 only.

How to get your hands on one of these? Please leave me a comment below, with the following inputs:

What is your favourite part of the blog, and what other specific topics or generic themes would you like me to cover more often.

Please also do leave your preference for the roundtrip code or the base code waiver voucher. Please be aware, that these vouchers only work with the HDFC JP credit card, so if you don’t have one, I’ll be happy to book up your ticket for you, and send it to you after receiving your payment in my bank account.

The giveaway is open till May 17, 2014 midnight IST, and you can participate a maximum of two times over this period. Go on, and tell me how you feel about the blog.

  1. My favourite part of the blog is mileage use techniques. I wish more focus is on Indian hotels. Have travel planned for the end of the month, so preference for the base fare waiver.

  2. My favourite part of the blog is the information on all the best miles earning cards!

I already have a couple of 750 off return ticket codes, so wouldn’t mind a base fare off coupon 😀

  3. My favorite part of the blog is the various card comparison feature. I took your advice and got Premiermiles in Oct (earned about 65k miles in 7 months and even reached top 5k spender list on Citi to double miles!)

Now that you have a base of customers who already have travel credit cards, I’d like to see more articles on :

    – How to maximize spend on each particular card
    – Optimum no of cards to have
    – More exclusive deals like this one
    – Some sort of tie-up where card related issues (Ex. SBI Air India) are resolved through your site
    – Holiday/travel destinations and associated deals

If I do win, would love the ‘base’ fare waiver !

    Cheers,
    Anand

  4. Hi AJ,
The favourite part about the blog are the various card comparison to maximize the reward points. I would like to see more of hotel / holiday rewiews on the blog.
    Preference. Base fare off codes.

  5. The tips and tricks regarding meeting the minimum credit cards spending are the most favorite part of your blog… Thanks a ton…

  6. I like the airline update. Ur tips has helped me maximize my miles collection. I’ll like to read more on credit card mega sign up bonus options in India ( if any)

I have one way trip coming up to Hyderabad so base fair waived is welcome. I have hdfc JP card.

  7. I like the credit card reviews. I like to read more about hotel rewards being simplified. I want base fare waived code. I have hdfc JP card.

  8. Be aware that these codes are extremely finicky and hard to use. Add to it restrictions on the sector and number of seats available. I have a code but was not able to make use of it as the website refused to accept the code. Had to book a full rate ticket instead.

Sorry for the rant. Good luck to the lucky winner☺

  9. Valuable:
    1. Credit card strategy (Credit card comparison excel is valuable)
    2. Miles redemption experiences
    3. AwardWallet give-aways (was late to the last giveaway:)

Overall, I like the writing style. Would like to see more on “how tos” on redemption with partners. In terms of feedback, I find some of them flight/product reviews too detailed.

    No HDFC JP credit card.

  10. The promotions featuring points-earning with various partners across India – Hotel, Flights & Cards.

Would love to see, more coverage on the Star Alliance partnership, and what it enables us to do worldwide.

  11. Domestic Hotel Reviews – which helps with the travel plans. we do not get much on that from a miles/points perspective.

  12. This is one place where i can get all domestic flight travel deal news and i love visiting this blog daily to get updates.
no plan to travel in may 🙂

  13. Preference base fare voucher
Trip reports are my favourite part of this blog and would like to see more trip reports in future also
