Amazon is currently running the Great Indian Festive Sale. This is a great time to earn points and discounts on Amazon on using your HDFC Bank Debit & Credit Cards.
HDFC Bank is currently running a promotion where you get 10% off on your Amazon purchases over INR 5000, through September 24, 2017. You can get a maximum of 4500 INR cashback in this cashback promotion, however, the maximum cash back per order is only 1500 INR. So, you can break up your purchases in batches of INR 15000 each, and then get the 10% cashback thrice.
But that is just not it. If you hold the Diners Club cards, you get 10X reward points as well. Under a different promotion, all other HDFC Bank cards are also getting 10X reward points for shopping at Amazon.
Bottomline
Where does that leave us? For instance, with buying something from Amazon, I can get a 43% off by getting 33 reward points per INR 100 spent on my Diners Club Black card which is worth INR 1 per point each, and then on top of it, get another 10% cashback for my purchases as well.

The issue is that there is no way to check points on Diners.
While the Amazon promotion states that it’ll be automatically applied on purchase, the 10x HDFC promotion states that not valid in combination with any other offers. So not sure if 10x applies or not.

The way I would look at it is that we may not get the 10% cash back (we will, but just for arguments sake since it’s technically another offer and may not be combined with 10X) but there’s no way we won’t get the 10X points, coz that’s a standard offer.

@JG you anyways get 10X on Diners Club because it is a part of the current 10X promotion. So don’t expect 20X, just the regular 10X
