Just last week, Fly91 received its Air Operators Permit, which enabled the regional airline to launch commercial operations. The airline is now set to launch commercial operations and also started ticketing for the flights.
Fly91 set to launch on March 18, 2024
Fly91 launched its operations on March 12, 2024, with a special flight between Goa Mopa and Agatti in Lakshadweep. The airline also started selling tickets for operations between four airports.
The airline’s commercial operations will begin on March 18, 2024, with its first commercial flight scheduled to take off from Goa’s Manohar International Airport, Mopa, to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. It will also operate a flight between Bengaluru and Sindudurg on the same day.
In the inaugural phase, the regional airline will offer weekly flights between Goa’s Manohar International Airport and Bengaluru and Hyderabad as well as connectivity between Sindhudurg to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Here is the schedule of flights (between Goa, Sindhudurg, Bengaluru and Hyderabad). Subsequently, FLY91 will introduce flights to Agatti, Pune, Jalgaon and Nanded.
Fly91 plans to add up to six ATR aircraft annually for the next five years. On the occasion of the launch, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FLY91, Manoj Chacko, said,

The airline has been allocated its first set of routes under the government’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) UDAN. The routes include Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded in Maharashtra and Agatti in Lakshadweep, along with other business and leisure destinations, namely Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad and Pune.
