  1. Hello Ajay,
I booked Emirates Round trip MAA-DXB-MAA (single PNR) on October 2021 for the trip in January 2022 for 1 week (booked via Emirates airline website).
I did register to this promotion.
It’s been more than 5 days since I arrived back home and yet the 5000 miles on this promotion haven’t been credited yet to the account.

But the Tier points/Skywards Miles have been credited.

  2. Hi! Any way to claim the miles retrospectively. I spent 7 days in Dubai and flew Emirates. But did not know about the registration process. Is there any way to claim the miles retrospectively ?

  3. Maximum miles that can be earned is just 5000!! Thats approx 3.5 days stay @ Dubai.

Not sure you you have mentioned it as Fabulous 😛

If the max cap is @ 50k, then its fabulous.

    • @Arun, I thought I was the writer and I was entitled to have an opinion. You are sure allowed to have yours too, but just limited to the comments section 😉

      • Agreed, but mind explaining in what way this is a fabulous offer please?
I hope as an author, you are here to educate us, if we are wrong in anyway.

For the sake of 5000 miles, I wonder no one would Travel to Dubai.

This is beneficial to only those who have to travel to Dubai and get additional bonus miles.

        But not to generic public.

To earn this small miles, I could just finish any of the Amex offers and transfer the points to Emirates in the ratio 1:2

Also, to earn this 5000 miles, we should book through Emirates directly.
So this offer is eligible to those have already planned to visit Dubai but only book via Emirates, rather than using Infinia portal or any travel websites who provide stunning fare offers.

For me this is just a wasted offer, to try something new to gain customers.

I would stand corrected if you have some other opinion and throw us some light

        • Bro, you are absolutely right.

But can you mention any of that Amex offer that will help me to earn this much miles?

        • @Arun, clearly you jumped to conclusions without reading. An additional 5000 miles does not hurt. And yes, obviously it only applies to those who are going to Dubai, and I don’t expect anyone to go to Dubai just for the offer.

The offer is valid for customers who book via travel agents as well, which is not in line with your understanding.

And yes, the number could be to your liking or not, but that is not Emirates’ problem. It could have also been 50 Million sweepstakes for one person, and then it would have not made sense as well since it is a game of chance.

Of course, Emirates is trying to revive its customer base and get them to fly with them, like any business would do. And people may take them up on the offer or not, which is the choice the customer makes.

But in my book, it is a generous promotion for those going to Dubai, and in your book it does not have to be. Trust there is nothing else to debate about.

          Cheers.
