Much along the lines of Citibank and American Express past promotions where cardholders have earned bonuses on International spends, IndusInd Bank is offering Double JPMiles on international spends on their Jet Airways IndusInd Bank co-branded credit cards.
This offer is being offered to all Jet Airways IndusInd Bank Voyage Visa Credit Card and Jet Airways IndusInd Bank Odyssey Visa Credit Card holders. Spends in foreign currency between March 10 and June 30, 2018, will be eligible to earn double JPMiles. The bonus miles will be credited within 40 days of the transaction to your JetPrivilege account.
Remember, only the Visa variants of the co-branded cards get the bonus JPMiles. There are four versions of Jet Airways IndusInd co-branded cards available and depending on the card you hold, you usually earn between 2 JPMiles and 6 JPMiles on every INR 100 spent. On top of this, the earning rate is higher on weekend spends. During the double JPMiles offer, weekday and weekend spend will be calculated as per Indian Standard Timings.
Here are some important terms & conditions of the offer. You can view the full T&C here:
- This offer is open to all residents and citizens of India.
- The Bonus JPMiles earned during the offer are not transferable.
- The Bonus JPMiles calculation will be done based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction by IndusInd Bank.
- Offer is valid only for International transactions.
Bottomline
It’s always good to earn more airmiles and if you have these co-branded credit cards, you should assess using them. The best potential in our mind is to use the Visa Odyssey variant on weekends abroad to get 8 JPMiles/INR 100 spent, but if this is not your primary card and you have better cards such as HDFC Diners Club or Citibank Prestige and so on, you should totally spend on those cards instead of this one. You could also double your JPMiles by paying for online transactions, in foreign currency.
Are you going to use your IndusInd Jet Airways credit cards for your next work or vacation trip then?
