Hilton is offering Double Points for stays at participating Hilton hotels and resorts in Asia Pacific region.
This offer is valid for all Hilton Honors members who book directly, complete their stays by December 31,2017 and pay with a Visa Infinite, Visa Signature, Visa Rewards (for cardholders in Australia only), or Visa Platinum card (cardholders in Australia, China and Japan only).
Members will need to register for this promotion and a maximum of 20,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points can be earned per Cardholder, per Hilton Honors account. Keep in mind that the bonus points earned during the offer will do not count toward tier qualification. The bonus points will appear in your account between 6 to 8 weeks from the stay completion.

The holiday season is coming up and this is one promotion to keep in mind if you have travel plans in the rest of the year. For instance most Hilton hotels in India are priced at an average of USD 100/ INR 6,500 per night. As a base member you earn 10 Hilton Honors points for every eligible dollar spent. That means you will earn a total of 2,000 points (1000 base + 1000 bonus) under this promotion. A 3 nights stay at Hilton in Jaipur or Mumbai will earn you enough points to redeem a a reward night at the Hilton Salalah Resort in Oman where Indians can now get a Visa on arrival.

Question: Hilton already has a double up promotion running for 2x points, doesn’t need Visa card.
Would this be in place of that or does this mean another 2x points if registered for both? Any idea?
