I checked up the various rates for various resorts around these hotels, and the differential is minimal to take this specific rate or the regular one. For instance, here is the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa. The normal rate is INR 25,480 ++ per night.
And here is the rate with breakfast, INR 2,000 per day credits and other inclusions listed above, for an incremental price of INR 1000 only.
With these rates, if I am in the market for a vacation at a Marriott resort in India, I’d look up this rate for sure and book it.
Bottomline
Marriott has a new rate on offer for 46 hotels, mostly around India and in the neighbourhood, which includes daily credit, an experience, breakfast and wine/beers, and 1000 bonus points per stay for those who hold the Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card. The rate is valid for stays through September 30, 2024.
What do you make of the new rate at Marriott vacation hotels and resorts?
