Deal: Etihad offering up to 20% off bookings to and from India

Etihad Airways is celebrating 20 years of flying to India this month. On September 26, 2004, Etihad launched flights to Mumbai,  followed by New Delhi on December 1, 2004. Etihad now flies to 11 gateways in India.

Etihad is offering up to 20% discount to celebrate the milestone.

Etihad launched its 20-year celebrations with its Airbus A380, which recommenced operations between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi three times per week until the end of the year. Indian travellers can now enjoy the unique flying experience of this iconic double-decker aircraft from Mumbai.

Now, Etihad has launched a new promotion offering a discount to people travelling to and from India with Etihad. Etihad is offering discounts of up to 20% on flights to and from India when booking through etihad.com. The sale runs from September 19-21, 2024, for travel from October 1, 2024, to March 15, 2025. Travel needs to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Moreover, guests flying through Abu Dhabi can take advantage of a complimentary two-night hotel stay on the way to their destination through Etihad’s Abu Dhabi Stopover programme, which is available year-round for bookings on etihad.com.

The promotion is valid on return journeys on Etihad-operated flights booked on etihad.com using the promo code INDIA20. You cannot pay this offer with Etihad Guest Miles or miles + cash. The offer comprises a fare discount of up to 20% in Economy and Business (exclusive of taxes and surcharges).

  • For US, Canada, and European destinations, the offer is unavailable for outbound travel between December 25, 2024, and January 13, 2025, and inbound travel between December 12, 2024, and December 24, 2025.
  • The offer is unavailable for outbound and inbound travel between December 10, 2024, and March 15, 2025, for destinations in the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and Africa.

I checked the offer, which showed me all the combinations on Etihad.Com, where the discount was applicable.

Overall, Etihad is an excellent airline, and these are some excellent fares to fly to most parts of the world. Etihad also commenced local catering for flights departing from India this summer, offering fresh, regionally curated cuisine.
